Expected Study Hours: Typical learners are expected to spend approximately 607 hours depending on existing knowledge, skills, and experience.

What will you learn?

This course is designed to develop your expertise in Engineering Pathways. Among others, you will learn to:

• Work safely and effectively in manufacturing and engineering
• develop a career plan for the engineering and manufacturing industries

How is the course structured?

All learners will be assessed through:

• Observation during on-the-job or role play/simulation
• Questioning may include self-assessment, verbal answers, written questionnaires, activity modules or interview
• Structured Activities may include Projects, Case studies, presentations, role play, demonstration, progressive tasks

What are the entry requirements?

There are no pre-requisites to enter this training program. However, AAA Training and Tuition screens learners according to the following criteria:
• Senior school (Year 10 to 12, with a minimum age of 15 years)
• Have successfully enrolled at least Year 10 or equivalent
• Have successfully passed Math and English in Year 9
• Have sound Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills*
• Have basic computer skills
• Have the physical capacity to perform practical demonstrations.
