How is the course delivered?

Training is delivered via Blended delivery (face-to-face + online distance) at Hillcrest Christian College, 21 Bridgman Dr, Reedy Creek QLD 4228.

Course Duration: This course is designed to be completed up to 52 weeks.

Expected Study Hours: Typical learners are expected to spend approximately 561 hours depending on existing knowledge, skills, and experience.

What will you learn?

This course is designed to develop your expertise in Sampling and Measurement. Among others, you will learn to:

  • Work within a laboratory or field workplace
  • Record and present data
  • Participate in laboratory or field workplace safety and many more!

How is the course structured?

All learners will be assessed through:

  • Observation during on-the-job or role play/simulation
  • Questioning may include self-assessment, verbal answers, written questionnaires, activity modules or interview
  • Review of Products including work samples or products
  • Portfolio may include documents, products with supporting documentation, historical evidence
  • Structured Activities may include Projects, Case studies, presentations, role play, demonstration, progressive tasks

What are the entry requirements?

There are no pre-requisites to enter this training program. However, AAA Training and Tuition screens learners according to the following criteria:

  • Senior school age (minimum age of 15 years and/or grade 10)*
  • Have successfully enrolled at least Australian high school year 10, or equivalent 
    • Should be/have enrolled in Year 10 Science programs
    • Should have passed Math and English Year 9
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Have sound Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills**
  • Have the physical capacity to perform practical demonstrations

*Learners who are below 18 years must provide a completed Parent’s Consent form to take this course.

**Learners who do not meet the LLN requirements of the course may still enrol into the course provided the enrolment has been endorsed by the trainer and corresponding additional support strategies have been put in place

What are the course fees?

The MSL20122 Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement (Release 1) + MSL30122 Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (Release 1) course is available for only $4,900.00.

Initial Deposit: $1,500.00. Remaining fees to be paid in 10 monthly instalments of – $309.09 and last payment (11 Month) – $309.10
